The very first franchised CS:GO competition in India, the Skyesports Masters, was just announced by Skyesports.
Eight franchised teams will compete in this much-awaited tournament for an outstanding prize pool of INR 2,00,00,000 ($244,000).
Skyesports just announced that registration for the Cafe Qualifiers is now open.
Skyesports Masters CS:GO Schedule
A three-phase schedule will be followed for the competition.
Phase 1
Offline café qualifiers will be held in 20 locations throughout India beginning on June 17 in the first round.
These preliminaries seek to find the best CS:GO gamers in the country. Skyesports has teamed up with local gaming cafés in significant locations to make this process easier.
Phase 2
To add to their squads of Indian and foreign CS:GO pros, the franchised teams must recruit two players from the café qualifiers.
The eight teams will compete in a league stage and playoffs in Mumbai over a three-month period once the rosters are finalised.
The league stage will feature the eight clubs competing for dominance from July 1 through August 17.
In the playoffs, where they will face off for the championship trophy, the top four teams from this round will proceed.
Phase 3
The top four teams will face off in the playoffs for the championship trophy.
The league stage, playoffs, and other events will all take place in front of a live crowd at a location that has not been decided yet.
In time, further details about the location and tickets will be made available.
How to register for Skyesports Masters CS:GO
Teams must have a minimum of five players, all of whom must be at least 16 years old, in order to sign up for the café qualifiers. Everyone who is interested is welcome to compete in the qualifiers.

- Phase 1 – Single Elimination Knockout.
- Phase 2 – Double Round Robin League Stage.
- Phase 3 – Single Elimination Knockout.
Two franchised teams for Skyesports Master have already been introduced: Revenant Esports and Gods Reign. They will be joined by six other teams.
