Gujarat Titans star all-rounder Rahul Tewatia praised Jos Buttler’s performance in the ongoing season of the Indian Premier League. He even wants the star RR opener to win the orange cap this season. But, should not score a good knock against his side in the qualifier 1.

Rahul Tewatia, David Miller, and Varun Aaron were part of the Rajasthan Royals during IPL 2021 season. But, they had released ahead of IPL 2022 auction. However, they retained star England opener, Jos Buttler, who has been plying his traits for the side since 2018.

In a video shared by Gujarat Titans, Rahul Tewatia said that his one season with the Royals turned out to be a breakthrough season for him as an individual. He also praised Sanju Samson, who is currently leading Rajasthan Royals in the cash-rich league. As per the former RR all-rounder, the Indian wicketkeeper is a very balanced individual and talented batsman. Tewatia also mentioned he is eagerly waiting to face his former skipper in the playoffs.

The Titans all-rounder asserted that Jos Buttler is in incredible form with the bat. But, he wants him to not score against his side in the crucial upcoming match. Meanwhile, David Miller, and Varun Aaron also echoed in the same voice stating that England batsman is in incredible batting form in IPL 2022.

“He (Buttler) is as calm off the field as he is aggressive with the bat,” said Tewatia. “I hope he retains the orange cap but doesn’t score against us.

“Being in the (bio) bubble, you get to do a lot more with the team. Sanju as captain has got really nice balance. (He is a) great guy and a seriously good cricketer,” said Miller.

“Playing for Rajasthan Royals was a breakthrough for me. Sanju has been a great captain on the field. We share a close bond; excited to meet him in the playoffs.” he added.
