Lucknow Super Giants defeated Chennai Super Kings in a high-scoring affair by six wickets. Cricket fans got to witness their very own MS Dhoni at his best. He slammed 16 runs off 6 balls giving a glimpse of a player that everyone was missing. There were several moments that happened during the game that hogged the spotlight. However, one that got vial on all over the social media was MS Dhoni and Gautam Gambhir talking to each other on the sidelines.

Gautam Gambhir and MS Dhoni partnered together and guided Team India to the 2011 World Cup trophy. The duo stitched a mammoth partnership that played a key role in finishing India’s 28-year drought of winning the mega-event.

Afterward, a sudden dip in batting form saw Gambhir out of the national side. And, the southpaw was heard criticizing MS Dhoni on numerous occasions. Recently, Gambhir said in an interview that he shares a good bond with the former Indian skipper. Also, he added if Dhoni needs him he will be the first person standing there for help.

Currently, both the players are involved with their respective teams in the ongoing IPL season. On one side MS Dhoni is part of CSK and Gautam Gambhir is the mentor of Lucknow Super Giants.

Both players got some time post-match to have a small discussion on the sidelines. And, the clip of both players talking to each other got viral very soon on social media. And, netizens hailed camaraderie between both the former Indian players.

Coming onto the match, CSK managed 210 runs in stipulated 20 overs and Lucknow Super Giants chased down the target with three balls to spare in their kitty. Evin Lewis was awarded Man of the Match for scoring a swift knock of 55 runs off 23 balls with the help of 3 sixes and 6 boundaries.
