Hardik Pandya – 228, 33

Hardik Pandya

Hardik Pandya has already established himself as a key member of the Indian team in white-ball cricket. The explosive all-rounder dons the number 228 on his national jersey. 228 is the highest score of the junior Pandya brother in competitive cricket in 2009. The Baroda all-rounder racked up the score during a Vijay Merchant U-16 encounter. He wore the jersey number 228 during his debut but switched to 33 after a few matches. Later, in an interview, he explained that he originally wanted the number 3, but since it was already used by cricketers like Harbhajan Singh and Suresh Raina, he decided to combine two 3’s to create his own unique number, 33.
